Mobility Concepts

Recent societal trends and technological advances allow for alternative ways of transporting people and freight. The aim of this research project is to evaluate the benefit of such mobility concepts based on computer experiments in which we employ optimization methods in simulated environments. This research project consists of two streams, one dealing with the integration of different sharing economy concepts and the other dealing with the coordination of autonomous public transport systems.
